1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website theeternallight.in (the "Site") and any purchase you make from it. By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy below. The Eternal Light is a handmade candle and gifting brand founded and operated by Astha Awasthi ("we", "us", "our").
2. Copyright & Ownership of Content
All content on this Site — including but not limited to product photographs, videos, descriptions, the "The Eternal Light" name and tree-of-life logo, fragrance names, page layouts, and written copy — is the exclusive property of The Eternal Light and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. This content is original work created by or for The Eternal Light and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded for commercial use, scraped, mirrored, or distributed in any form without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our photographs or brand assets for another business, listing, or website is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
3. Accounts
You may browse and shop as a guest, or create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In for faster checkout and order tracking. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of these Terms.
4. Products & Customization
Every candle is handmade in small batches; natural variation in color, texture, and shape between pieces is normal and not a defect. For "Design Your Own" custom orders, the on-screen preview (including any recolored preview images) is a visual approximation to help you choose — the final handmade piece is confirmed with you before production, and may vary slightly in shade or finish from the digital preview. Prices, availability, and fragrance offerings are subject to change without notice.
5. Orders & Payment
Orders are confirmed once payment is completed (for online payments) or once placed (for Cash on Delivery). We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit card, and netbanking through Razorpay, as well as Cash on Delivery in select areas. By placing an order, you confirm that the shipping details and contact information you provide are accurate and complete.
6. Shipping, Returns & Cancellations
Please see our dedicated Shipping & Returns page for delivery timelines, damage claims, and cancellation policy. In short: because most candles are made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, but we will replace or refund any item that arrives damaged when reported within 48 hours of delivery. For any damage or missing-item claim, an unedited video recorded continuously while opening the sealed package is required as proof — photos or edited clips cannot be accepted, and claims without an unboxing video cannot be honoured.
7. Limitation of Liability
Candles are open-flame products. Always burn candles on a stable, heat-safe surface, away from flammable materials, drafts, children, and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended. The Eternal Light is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from improper use, storage, or handling of our products.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep your cart contents, remember your login session, and understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. You can control or decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing your browser storage at any time. Declining cookies may affect cart and login functionality.
9. Privacy Policy
We collect the information you provide directly — name, email, phone number, shipping address, and order details — solely to process orders, provide customer support, and (if you opt in) send you updates about new products. Payment details are handled securely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing eternaltreasureofficial@gmail.com.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
